EcoChallenge 2012

E M

I'm trying to do a bunch of little things that I can turn into permanent habits. Some things on my list I already do, but I'm using this as a good reminder to continue.

My Challenges: Turn off the lights when not in use (remember to do this in conference rooms, bathrooms, etc. too), Unplug appliances and electronics when not in use: many of them still draw electricity even when they are turned off, Plant an herb windowsill or herbs in pots, Use alternative transportation methods to get to work, Bring my own reusable mug every time I’m on the go, Bring my own bags every time I shop during the EcoChallenge, Clean out unused appliances, items, clothes, etc. and donate unneeded items, Buy used whenever possible (from garage sales, Craigslist, Freecycle, secondhand stores, etc.), and Recycle and select products that are made from recycled materials (at home and at the office)
