Oregon National Primate Research Center

ONPRC EcoChallenge 2011

As one of the eight National Primate Research Centers in the United States, our mandate as a Center is to provide Nonhuman Primate (NHP) resources for the very best scientific programs, both within the Oregon Health & Science University community and beyond.

We've recently launched a sustainability effort on our campus and are excited to incorporate EcoChallenge as a way to engage our community members. We'll be focusing on saving energy, reducing our water use, and increasing our recycling rates. The folks involved in our community garden will surely be considering the sustainable food challenge and we're looking forward to exploring the challenge for alternative transportation.
